Hear less of the hallway.
A peel-and-stick kit that seals the gaps round your bedroom door, which is where a lot of hallway noise gets in. Made for renters: no drilling, no tools, and it comes off when you move out.
- Takes the edge off voices, TVs and doors in the corridor
- Fits in about 10 minutes, with scissors (fitting guide)
- Deposit-safe: no screws, no glue on paint you can't peel off
30-day guarantee: if it doesn't make a difference, send us a photo of it fitted and we'll refund you. No need to post it back.
Sound takes the easiest way through, and a gap lets far more through than the door itself.

What it does, and what it won't
It helps with
- Voices and phone calls in the corridor
- TVs and music from a shared hall
- Light and draughts under the door
It won't fix
- Footsteps from the floor above
- Bass coming through walls
- Noise through the wall itself
We'd rather tell you now. Sealing gaps takes the edge off. It is not soundproofing.
Fitting takes about 10 minutes
- Clean. Wipe the bottom of the door and the frame stop with a dry cloth.
- Cut to length. Trim the strips with scissors. Peel and press.
- Check it closes. The door should still close and latch on its own.
Questions
Is it safe on a fire door?
Fire doors (common in flats and shared houses) have a fire and smoke seal in the frame or the door edge. Never cover or block that seal, and don't fit frame seal on a fire door at all. The door must still close and latch on its own. On a fire door, use the under-door strip only, and check it doesn't stop the door closing. If you're not sure whether your door is a fire door, ask your landlord before fitting.
Will it damage the paint?
The strips use a peel-off adhesive. Test a small piece somewhere hidden first. On fresh or flaky paint, any tape can lift paint, so peel slowly at a low angle when you move out.
Will my landlord know?
There's nothing to drill or screw, so it comes off when you move out.
How much quieter will it be?
That depends on how big your gaps are. Doors with a visible gap underneath usually notice the biggest change. It takes the edge off. It won't make a room silent.
